A Note about "Bad" Qi



There is actually no bad Qi. Things being bad or good is a human idea.

There is no such thing as badness within you that must come out in order to be a good or healthy person. The healthy and comfortable person is already within you as you. With Qi Gong we are working, in a sense, to uncover the perfect wellness of you and restore full functionality of being, being well!

When we speak of bad Qi going or being breathed out, it is the Qi taking out elements of the body that are not needed and do not promote and function as perfect health. The carbon dioxide we breathe out of our lungs is not bad (green plants love it); it simply is not needed anymore and is expelled in a happy cycle of respiration.

In ending, you may want to give up the idea that there is something bad or wrong about yourself, or anyone else for that matter. There is not. It is just an idea. Put is aside. Do not oppose it.

As you do Qi Gong, the idea that something is wrong with you and/or others will gradually fade. Don't get too involved or concerned with negative feelings or ideas. Just put these ideas to the side, and do Qi Gong. Don't try to fight them, cast them out or disagree with them; just put them to the side of you and carry on. As you do Qi Gong and other work, good feelings and experiences of Self will emerge.
